An interesting minor detail about this coin is that while it was struck from the same die pair as lot 1167 above, it shows the obverse die in an earlier state with a clear spelling error (VESA instead of VESTA). This was later noticed and corrected by a die cutter, who squeezed in a small clumsy T (looking more like an I) between S and A, as can be seen on the previous lot.
